‘Shameful’: Sen. Kay Hagan invokes Trayvon Martin shooting in campaign spot

Those of us living outside of North Carolina have likely missed it, but residents of the state have been marveling for nearly a week now at a Sen. Kay Hagan campaign radio spot that attempts to tie Hagan’s GOP opponent, Thom Tillis, to the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin in Florida.

Friend of Twitchy Sister Toldjah captured and posted a broadcast of the radio spot.

American Commitment president Phil Kerpen makes the point that has been lost on so many who followed the George Zimmerman trial.
